- Where are you located and what are your hours?
- Peak Motor Cars is based in Thousand Oaks, California and operates by appointment only. We are happy to host private viewings outside of standard business hours by request.
- Do you have an active California dealer license?
- Peak Motor Cars, LLC is preparing its California dealer operations. We will publish our dealer license number and any associated regulatory details before any regulated retail vehicle sale activity takes place.
- Are vehicles sold as-is or with a warranty?
- Unless an express written warranty is provided, or a manufacturer or extended-service-contract warranty remains in force, pre-owned vehicles are sold AS-IS, with all faults, in accordance with the FTC Used Motor Vehicle Trade Regulation Rule. Each vehicle includes a Buyer's Guide that controls warranty status at sale.
- What is a BidBetter report?
- BidBetter is an independent valuation and inspection service whose reports we publish alongside every car we place. The report is informational only and is one of several tools you should use when making a buying decision.
- Can I commission a pre-purchase inspection (PPI)?
- Absolutely. We encourage every buyer to either rely on our 150-point in-house inspection or commission a marque-specialist shop of their choosing. We coordinate enclosed transport to and from the inspection facility and publish the resulting report with the listing.
- Do you offer financing or leasing?
- We are not a lender. We work with established prime and exotic-specialist lenders and lessors who provide written offers subject to credit approval. Advertised rates are illustrative only and become firm only after underwriting.
- Do you take trade-ins?
- Yes. We accept high-quality trade-ins and provide a firm written valuation after physical inspection. Buyers remain responsible for any payoff balance and any negative equity rolled into a new contract.
- Can you ship a vehicle out of California?
- Yes. We arrange domestic enclosed transport and coordinate international export, including documentation and freight forwarding, with experienced partners. Out-of-state buyers should consult their own DMV and tax authority regarding registration and use tax.
- How do deposits and holds work?
- A vehicle is considered "held" only upon receipt of a signed agreement and a refundable or non-refundable deposit, as specified in writing. Deposit terms are disclosed before any funds are accepted.
- How do you protect my personal and financial information?
- We collect only what is needed to operate our business, comply with DMV titling and federal AML / OFAC obligations, and process the transaction. See our Privacy Policy for the full disclosure of what we collect, how we use it, and the California (CCPA/CPRA) rights you can exercise.
- Is your website accessible?
- We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance and welcome feedback. If you encounter a barrier or need assistance, email accessibility@peakmotorcars.com — see our Accessibility Statement for details and timing.
